Introduced CFDq ultra-compact Controller
1. Growth in the market for small robots
The purpose of improvement and efficiency in the field of manufacturing productivity is driven by the need to alleviate labor shortages caused by a decline in the production age population and a rise in labor costs. Space saving of production line and layout with high degree of freedom are required in preparation for future increase of production, etc. in the field of manufacturing.
2. Our set
In 2013, we launched MZ07 high-speed, lightweight compact robot, expanding our lineup and SCARA robots. In March 2022 the MZ F series of compact robots to meet the need for higher speeds and higher precision, launched in the market, contributing to the improvement of productivity at manufacturing sites.
For controllers for small robots, "CFD" has been mainly deployed until now, but more compact production facilities have been installed. In November 2021, we launched CFDs, a compact, high-performance Controller.
We have recently launched CFDq, the world-smallest controller for small robots. With the robot, building a more compact production line with this set to meet customer needs.
3. Outline of the super compact controller "CFDq"

Equipment costs were reduced by making the entire equipment, including peripheral equipment, compact.
Responding to cost-oriented needs.
With a changeover switch conventionally located on the front panel of the controller the mode can be switched on hand even after placing it on the teach pendant and storing it in the rack.
